Peepers

We did a little leaf peeping yesterday in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

This was taken in Frontenac State Park in Minnesota along the Mississippi River.  The colorful leaves were still hanging on enough to enjoy them.  A beautiful day for a drive.

we enjoyed criss-crossing the Mississippi several times last week on our way home from WI - the fall colors were beautiful as was the river.

What a great picture! Both the scenery and the people/dog! I did the same thing on Saturday - Prescott, WI down to Wabasha and then north. Although cloudy, still gorgeous!

So funny to hear about the leaves still hanging on when they have not yet begun to turn here! Looks like a beautiful day for peeping tho.

Great photo and one of my/our favorite spots. Paid a visit to Stockholm, WI, a couple of weeks ago. The colors were incredible!! The Mississippi is the perfect backdrop for leaf peeping!! One more weekend to spend at our little RV (located at Pettibone RV park just on the edge of LaCrosse) then close it up and bring it home (Houston,MN) for the winter. Am lovin' these warm summer days. Glad I came across your blog!!!!
